If a replacement pod, different device or Vapestore product page makes sense, we will say so clearly and link to the relevant guide or tracked buying option.
My XLIM Pro 3 has just started doing 3 rapid white flashes when I press the button then nothing happens. It was working fine this morning and has been charged overnight. I've tried a different pod and it's the same.
Any idea what the 3 flashes mean? I can't find it in the manual.
Three flashes on the XLIM usually means the device has detected a short circuit or the pod connection isn't being read properly. Try these in order:
1. Remove the pod and clean the contacts on both the device and pod with a dry cotton bud.
2. Try a brand new pod – sometimes a faulty pod causes this.
3. Make sure the pod is properly clicked in – it should snap firmly.
4. Try doing a reset: with the pod removed, press the fire button 5 times quickly to power off, then 5 times to power back on.
If none of that works it could be a hardware fault – worth contacting Vapestore if it's still under warranty.
Also worth checking there's no liquid that's got into the connection port between the pod and the device. Even a tiny bit of moisture there can cause that error. Dry it out with a cotton bud and leave it for an hour if you suspect that might be the case.
Cleaned the contacts and snapped a fresh pod in – working perfectly. Turns out there was a tiny bit of liquid in the connection area. Good tip about the moisture, cheers. Never thought to check that.
