Hello. I'm using my XLIM Pro 3 with 20mg nic salts. The device has wattage settings but I'm not sure which one to use. It's currently on 12W which is where it was when I got it. Should I change it? I'm using a 0.8 ohm pod.

12W with a 0.8 ohm pod and nic salts is actually a solid starting point – that's pretty much what most people settle on for everyday MTL vaping. Lower wattage gives a cooler draw with more intense flavour; higher wattage warms it up and can increase vapour production but burns through the pod faster.

For nic salts, staying between 10-14W on a 0.8 ohm pod is the sweet spot for most people. Try 10W if you want a cooler, more flavour-forward experience; try 14W if you want a bit more warmth and throat hit. It's quite personal so worth experimenting a bit.

I settled on 11W with my 0.8 ohm pod and nic salts. Found 12W just slightly warm for all-day vaping. It really is personal though – worth trying a few different settings over a day or two to find what you like.

Thank you both! Tried 11W and honestly prefer it slightly – a touch cooler draw and flavour feels cleaner. Good tip about experimenting. Will try 10W tomorrow.
