Dropped my XLIM Pro 3 off my desk this morning – maybe 4 feet onto a wooden floor. It still seems to work fine but there's a faint rattle inside when I shake it. Should I be worried? Is there something that can move around inside that's just settling?
If it's working normally – fires correctly, battery charges, auto-draw works – the rattle is most likely just the battery or a small internal component that's shifted slightly. XLIM internals are fairly compact and a fall can occasionally loosen things that don't affect function.
Keep an eye on it over the next few days. If the battery life noticeably deteriorates or you start getting errors, it's worth contacting Vapestore for a warranty check. But if it continues to work normally the rattle is probably cosmetic.
I dropped mine onto a tiled floor and had a similar rattle. Used it for another 3 months without any issues. These are fairly robust little devices. Just keep an eye on it.
Cheers both. Still working perfectly after a few days. Guess the rattle is just cosmetic then. Will keep using it but keep Vapestore's number handy just in case.
