Quick one – my mate has an older XLIM (not sure which version) and wants to use the same pods I use in my Pro 3. Are the XLIM top-fill pods compatible across different XLIM models or does each one need its own pod?

The XLIM top-fill pods (V3 pods) are compatible across a range of XLIM devices. They work in the Pro 3, Pro 2, 3 Ultra, and most recent XLIM models. If your mate has one of the current XLIM range they should be fine with the same pods.

The compatibility caveat: very old XLIM devices (the original XLIM from 2019/2020) used different pods. If it's anything from the last 2-3 years it should be fine though. Check the Vapestore listing and it says which device each pod fits.

Worth noting that even if the pod physically fits, the resistance should match what the device is rated for. The XLIM top-fill pods come in 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm versions. Most XLIM devices handle the full range but check the manual for your mate's specific model if unsure.
