Hello all. I've noticed my XLIM Pro 3 gets noticeably warm when I use it for a few minutes in a row. Not burning hot, but quite warm to hold. I chain vape a bit which I know isn't ideal but I'm trying to cut down from cigarettes and need the nicotine.

Is this normal? I want to make sure I'm not going to damage it.

Some warmth is completely normal during extended use – the battery and coil both generate a bit of heat. If it's genuinely hot to the point where it's uncomfortable to hold, that's worth paying attention to. But warm after a few minutes of regular use is nothing to worry about.

Chain vaping does increase the heat buildup. The practical fix is giving it a 30-60 second break between draws, which also helps the coil re-saturate with liquid. That extends pod life significantly as well. As you get more used to the nicotine from nic salts you'll naturally need to vape less often anyway.

I was exactly the same when I first switched – 20 a day for years and needed the nicotine. The warmth really is normal. I found going up to 20mg nic salt really helped reduce how much I needed to vape and the device stays much cooler. Give it a few weeks and you'll be taking far fewer draws naturally.

Thank you both, that's very reassuring. I'm already on 20mg nic salts. I'll work on not chain vaping quite so much. Good to know the warmth itself isn't a fault though – was starting to wonder.
