Five flashes usually indicates the device has hit the low battery protection threshold. Even if the battery indicator says it has some charge left, the device cuts out before it gets to zero to protect the battery.

Try charging it for 30 minutes and see if it comes back. If it's been a while since you fully charged it, give it a full charge cycle.

If charging doesn't fix it, five flashes can also occasionally indicate a connection issue with the pod. Try removing the pod, cleaning the contacts, and reseating it firmly.
