I've got both the 0.2 and 0.4 ohm VPrime pods to try. I'm on 10mg nic salts (switched from 20mg) and want a smooth, flavourful experience without it being too intense. Which resistance should I start with?
For 10mg nic salts and a smooth experience, the 0.4 ohm is the better starting point. It runs at a more moderate wattage, produces a smoother draw and is more forgiving if you haven't used a sub-ohm pod kit before.
The 0.2 ohm is for direct-lung vaping at higher wattage (30W+) and produces very dense vapour. It's a significantly different experience – cloud-focused rather than flavour-focused. With 10mg nic salts in a 0.2 at proper wattage it'll be intense on the draw.
Get comfortable with the 0.4 first. If you want to experiment with more vapour production later, the 0.2 will be there.
0.4 ohm for sure. I thought the 0.2 would be better because "more mesh" but the airflow and wattage requirements are so different. The 0.4 at around 20-22W is a really lovely balanced vape. The 0.2 at its optimum wattage is clouds-first, flavour-second.
Tried 0.4 at 20W with the 10mg salts and it's absolutely lovely. Really smooth, great flavour. Going to take a while before I feel the need to try the 0.2! Thanks both.
