I've been on the 0.4 ohm VPrime pod for a few months and finally tried the 0.2. I'm struggling to get the best from it. What wattage range, what liquids, what airflow setup do people use for the 0.2? Any tips appreciated.
The 0.2 needs proper wattage to work well – anything under 25W and it'll feel like a very warm but unremarkable draw. The sweet spot for most people is 28-38W. At that range you get dense clouds and the flavour actually opens up properly.
For liquids: 3mg or 6mg freebase, or max VG works very well. 10mg nic salts is manageable. 20mg nic salts at 35W+ will be intense. Use 70/30 or higher VG ratio rather than 50/50 which can be too thin at high wattage.
Airflow: fully open, or very close to it. The 0.2 is a direct-lung pod – tight airflow defeats the purpose.
Also: prime the 0.2 pod very thoroughly. It has a larger wicking area than the 0.4 and needs a good 8-10 minutes with liquid before your first fire. Rushing this with the 0.2 is a very good way to burn an £8 pod.
Game changer – tried 32W with a 70/30 freebase 6mg and fully open airflow. Now I understand why people like it so much. The experience is totally different to anything I've used before. Cheers both!
