Hello everyone. Just picked up the VPrime. I'm used to the XLIM so slightly different device. I can see there's a wattage setting but I can't work out how to change it. The manual isn't entirely clear. Can anyone walk me through it?
On the VPrime: press the fire button three times quickly to enter the wattage adjustment mode. You'll see the wattage display change. Then use the + and – buttons (the two side buttons) to adjust up or down. Press the fire button once to confirm your setting. The device will remember the wattage until you change it again.
For a starting point with nic salts, somewhere between 15-20W with the 0.4 ohm pod or 25-35W with the 0.2 ohm pod is where most people settle. The VPrime operates at higher wattage than XLIM so expect more vapour production.
Welcome to the VPrime! The wattage range is quite wide compared to XLIM. Worth starting lower and working up rather than diving in at 40W+ straight away. The device can handle it but it's a lot if you're coming from an XLIM.
Three quick presses – brilliant, works perfectly. Set it to 18W to start with the 0.4 ohm pod. Very different experience to the XLIM, much more vapour. Going to take a bit of getting used to. Thank you both.
