Quick battery care question. I've always heard conflicting advice about whether to run a vape down to empty before charging or whether to top it up regularly. What's actually better for the VPrime's battery long term?

Modern lithium-ion batteries (which the VPrime uses) actually prefer partial discharges over full cycles. Running it completely flat before charging actually stresses the battery more than it needs to be. The old "run to empty first" advice was for older nickel-cadmium batteries and doesn't apply to modern lithium cells.

Best practice: charge when you notice it getting low (around 20-30%), unplug once it's full or close to it, and avoid leaving it plugged in overnight constantly. Charging to 80% rather than 100% is even better for longevity if you can manage it, but full charges are fine occasionally.

Good info. I've been running mine to empty out of habit from older gadgets. Will change the habit. Cheers for the proper explanation rather than just "do X".
