Switched from NeXLIM to VPrime a few weeks ago. Finding the VPrime pods leak more than the NeXLIM pods did. Not a constant problem but I'm finding moisture in the mouthpiece fairly regularly. Is this common or am I doing something wrong?
VPrime pods at higher wattage can condense a bit more in the mouthpiece than NeXLIM pods – it's the nature of producing more vapour. A few things to check:
1. Are you filling right to the top? With VPrime pods, leave about 10-15% unfilled. Over-filling can cause mouthpiece moisture.
2. Check your wattage isn't too low for the pod type – running a 0.2 ohm pod at low wattage means it's not vaporising efficiently and can leave droplets.
3. Let the mouthpiece cool slightly between uses, especially in warm weather – a cold mouthpiece on a hot draw creates condensation.
Had this and reduced fill level fixed it for me. The VPrime needs a bit more breathing room in the pod than you might expect compared to XLIM-style pods.
Reduced fill to about 85% and bumped wattage up slightly. Moisture in the mouthpiece is gone. Thanks for the specific tips rather than just "pod might be worn" – really helped me fix the actual cause.
