Hi. My XLIM has been spitting hot liquid into my mouth pretty regularly for the past week. It's happening about every 3rd or 4th draw. It started as occasional and is getting more frequent. Pod is about 12 days old. I'm on nic salts, 20mg.

Spitback almost always means one of two things: a flooding/overwicking issue or a worn coil that's not vaporising liquid properly anymore.

At 12 days the pod is well due for replacement – the silicone gaskets deteriorate over time and can allow liquid to flood the coil chamber more than it should. Try a fresh pod and see if the spitback stops. I'd bet it does.

Going forward: don't chain vape, as rapid repeated draws don't give the coil enough time to vaporise the liquid and excess can collect. Take a breath between draws. And replace pods around the 7-10 day mark before they get to this point.

New pod fixed exactly this for me last month. 12 days is a long time on one coil with regular use. Fresh pod and the spitback stopped completely.

Changed the pod – immediate difference. Not a single spit. Can't believe I left it so long! Will definitely be replacing them more regularly from now on. Thanks!
