My XLIM has suddenly started tasting really weak and muted. I haven't changed anything – same liquid, same pod, same settings. It was tasting great last week and now it's like vaping almost nothing. Pod is about 10 days old.

Has anyone had this happen? Is the pod just done for?

Thanks for reaching out! The burnt taste almost always comes down to priming. When you fit a new pod, add your liquid and let it sit upright for at least 8-10 minutes before your first vape. This lets the cotton fully saturate. Then take one or two very gentle draws without pressing the fire button to pull liquid through. You'll notice the difference immediately. Let us know if that helps.

10 days is a pretty solid run for an XLIM pod with regular use – the coil is most likely just worn out. The flavour drop-off you're describing is classic "tired coil" – the cotton and mesh are starting to degrade even if it's not technically burnt yet.

Grab a new pod and you should immediately notice the flavour coming back. Going forward, I'd say most XLIM pods are at their best for around 7-14 days depending on how much you vape and which liquid you use. Darker, sweeter or thicker liquids wear the coil out faster.

Exactly right. Also worth checking if any gunk has built up on the coil/mesh – if you hold the pod up to the light you can sometimes see discolouration. That's a sign the pod is done. Fresh pod is always the answer when flavour drops for no other reason.

New pod and wow the difference is unreal, it tastes like I just bought the kit again. Absolutely worth replacing sooner, noted! Thanks both 😊
