I've had my XLIM Pro 2 since last summer and it's been brilliant. But over the last few weeks the battery life has dropped quite significantly – it was easily lasting all day before, now it seems to need charging every few hours.

Is this normal wear or could something else be causing it? I'm using the same liquids and habits as always.

Some battery degradation over 6+ months of daily use is completely normal – all lithium batteries lose capacity over time. How you charge it can accelerate this though. A few things that help:

Try not to charge it from completely flat – charging from around 20% is better for the battery than running it to zero. Also don't leave it charging overnight constantly at 100%. Top it up and unplug.

If the degradation is severe rather than gradual, also worth checking the USB-C port hasn't accumulated any debris which can cause inconsistent charging.

Mine did the same after about 8 months. Just part of battery life tbh. If it's gotten really noticeably worse you could try a spare pod – sometimes a pod with a partially blocked airflow makes the device work harder which drains the battery faster too.

Appreciated – I suspected it might just be natural wear. I have been in the habit of leaving it charging overnight. Will try to change that. Could also be time to look at the XLIM Pro 3 as an upgrade perhaps.
