Got my XLIM Pro 3 from Vapestore last week and want to verify it's genuine for peace of mind. I know there's a scratch panel somewhere on the box but I've gone over every surface and can't see one. Does the Pro 3 definitely have it?
Every current OXVA device box has the authenticity scratch panel — on the Pro 3 it's on the bottom of the box, a small silver scratch-off area about 1cm x 2cm with a tiny 'SCRATCH HERE' indicator next to it. Once scratched you'll see a 20-character alphanumeric code. Full guide: OXVA Authenticity Code Guide. Enter the code at OXVA's verification page — confirms genuine or counterfeit instantly.
Tip: the panel is sometimes under the cellophane wrapping and easy to miss. Run your finger along the bottom edge of the box — you'll feel a slightly raised area. That's the panel. I nearly missed it on my 3 Ultra too.
Just did mine after reading this thread — scanned fine, came back genuine straight away. The verification page also shows manufacture date which was interesting to see. Satisfying to have it confirmed even buying from a trusted retailer.
