I've been on disposables for about 18 months (20mg, various brands). Just heard about the SlimStick and I'm wondering if it's similar enough to disposables that it would be an easy switch, or whether it's a completely different experience?
The SlimStick is intentionally designed as the closest thing to a disposable that's actually refillable/replaceable. You swap the whole pod (no refilling, no coils to think about) just like you'd get through a disposable. Snap the old one off, snap the new one on.
The draw feels similar to a disposable – light, automatic, relatively tight MTL. Flavours are limited to the SlimStick flavour range rather than the hundreds of options you'd get with a refillable kit, but they're good flavours. It's genuinely the easiest transition away from disposables. The savings compared to buying disposables are significant over time.
I made this exact switch. Honestly couldn't tell much difference in the experience but it's significantly cheaper monthly and I feel better about not throwing away an entire device every time I finish one.
This is exactly what I needed to hear. The environmental side matters to me as well. Going to give the SlimStick a try. Thank you both!
