lads my xlim pods are dying after like 4 days max. using nasty juice nic salts and dark coloured liquid. is the dark liquid the issue? started smelling slightly different today and flavours gone weak

100% the dark liquid. Sweetener and colouring in e-liquid caramelise on the coil mesh and create a gunky buildup that kills the flavour and eventually the coil. Darker = more sweetener usually = shorter pod life.

The fix: switch to clearer, lighter coloured nic salts. Something like Elfliq or IVG nic salts in fruity flavours are noticeably kinder to coils. You'll easily double your pod life.

Some specific offenders to avoid or use sparingly in XLIM pods: anything with "candy" or "dessert" flavour profile that's dark in colour, anything with heavy menthol additives that aren't clear, and anything described as "energy drink" type flavours – these are typically packed with sweeteners. Clear, fruity nic salts are your friends.

switched to elfliq, genuinely can't believe how much longer the pod is lasting. on day 6 and still tastes proper good. cheers lads, wish id known this months ago
