My friend uses a Caliburn G3 and she loves it. I'm on the NeXLIM. We've been debating which is better. Has anyone used both properly and can compare? Particularly interested in flavour, pod life and reliability.
Had both. Short answer: both are excellent and the "better" one depends on what you prioritise.
Flavour: Very close, slight edge to NeXLIM in my experience with the dual mesh.
Pod life: Similar – 7-12 days depending on use.
Reliability: Both very solid. Caliburn has a slightly simpler mechanism.
Pods availability: Both widely available in the UK. NeXLIM pods from Vapestore, Caliburn pods widely stocked.
Airflow: NeXLIM's adjustable airflow is a genuine advantage if you like to customise your draw.
If your friend is happy with her Caliburn, there's no compelling reason to switch. If you're happy with your NeXLIM, same applies. They're neck and neck.
Switched from Caliburn G2 to NeXLIM and didn't look back. The adjustable airflow was the dealbreaker for me. But I have friends who prefer the Caliburn G3 and it's a personal feel thing. Both solid choices.
Brilliant comparison, thank you! Sounds like I should stick with my NeXLIM and stop wondering if the grass is greener. The airflow adjustment is one of my favourite features anyway. Sorted!
