If a replacement pod, different device or Vapestore product page makes sense, we will say so clearly and link to the relevant guide or tracked buying option.
My NeXLIM started flashing red when I inserted a new pod this evening. The pod clicks in fine but the device doesn't seem to be reading it. I've tried pushing the pod in harder and it's the same. Had the device 3 weeks.
Red light with pod not detected usually means a connection issue. Things to check:
1. Remove the pod completely and inspect the gold contact pins at the bottom of the device and the corresponding contacts on the pod. If there's any liquid on them, dry thoroughly with a cotton bud.
2. Sometimes the pins get slightly pushed down – very gently try to lift them with a toothpick if they look flattened.
3. Try a different pod if you have one. Sometimes a batch of pods has a slight contact issue and another pod from the same pack will be fine.
4. Reset the device: 5 rapid presses to power off, 5 to power on again.
Cleaned the contacts with a cotton bud – there was a tiny amount of dried liquid residue on both the device and pod contacts that wasn't visible until I looked closely under better light. Works perfectly now. Thanks for the specific tip about where to check.
