Weird question but my friend says she puts IVG 2400 pods directly into her XLIM device. That doesn't sound right to me but she swears it works. Is this actually a thing or is she confused about what kit she's using?
IVG 2400 pods are prefilled pods designed for the IVG 2400 device specifically. They don't fit XLIM devices – the connection system and pod shape are completely different. She's either confused about what kit she's actually using, or she's mistaken about what pods she's putting in it.
The XLIM uses XLIM top-fill pods (for refilling with your own liquid) or the XLIM EZ pods. It doesn't accept third-party prefilled pods. The pod families are not cross-compatible between different manufacturers.
She might have a different device than she thinks – easy to happen when someone else set it up or it was a gift. Worth her checking the actual device name. IVG 2400 is its own device with its own pod format.
Turns out she actually has an IVG 2400 device, not an XLIM! She just calls everything an "XLIM" the same way some people call everything a "Hoover". Mystery solved. Thanks!
