Tempted by the NeXLIM 2 Mini because I want the dual mesh flavour without carrying something the size of a phone. My worry is that going smaller means I am charging it at lunchtime every day and wishing I had bought the full size. For anyone using one, does it genuinely last a day or is it a second device rather than a main one?
It depends almost entirely on the wattage you vape at, and the honest answer is that it is a full day for a moderate user and an afternoon top-up for a heavy one. The Mini carries a 1500mAh cell and goes up to 30W, and crucially it runs the same UniTech dual mesh cartridges as the full-size NeXLIM 2, holding up to 4ml. So flavour is not what you give up by going Mini - what you give up is output headroom and battery capacity. In practice, if you sit in normal MTL territory around 12 to 18W you will very likely get a day out of it. If you push it near 30W all day, you will be reaching for the cable mid-afternoon, because higher wattage drains any cell faster. The full-size NeXLIM 2 is the one to pick if you want the bigger battery plus the Eco and Boost modes and the larger screen. One practical point in the Mini's favour: USB-C tops up quickly, so a twenty minute charge at lunch is not much of an imposition if the smaller pocket size is what you actually want day to day.
