OXVA XLIM Pro 3 Settings Guide 2026

Wattage, airflow, display modes and puff counter - complete settings reference for the XLIM Pro 3 with recommended configurations for every pod type.

How to Change Wattage

  1. Press and hold the fire button.The wattage display will highlight to show you are in adjustment mode.
  2. Press + to increase or - to decrease wattage in 1W increments. You can hold the button for faster scrolling.
  3. Release the fire button to confirm.The new wattage is saved automatically and will be remembered the next time you turn the device on.

Start low, work up.Always start at the bottom of the recommended range when using a new pod. Increase by 1W at a time until you find the sweet spot for your flavour and throat hit preference.

Airflow Settings

The XLIM Pro 3 has a sliding airflow control on the side of the device with three positions:

Open (max airflow)

Slide fully open for a looser, airier draw with more vapour volume. Best with 0.6 ohm pods at higher wattage for a restricted direct-to-lung feel.

Mid position

The most popular setting for nic salt users. A balanced mouth-to-lung draw with good flavour and moderate vapour. Works well with 0.8 ohm pods.

Closed (min airflow)

Tightest draw, closest to a cigarette. Strongest flavour concentration. Best with 1.0 or 1.2 ohm pods for heavy smokers making the switch.

Secondary Menu: Puff Count and Theme

Press the fire button 2 times to access the secondary menu, which lets you select puff options or switch the theme/light. A short press cycles through the options, and a long press confirms your selection.

Resetting the Puff Counter

  1. Press the fire button 2 times to access the secondary menu.
  2. Short-press the fire button to switch to the puff-count reset option.
  3. Long-press the fire button to confirm and reset the count to zero.

Reset the puff counter every time you fit a new pod. OXVA pods last 600-800 puffs, so this tells you exactly when to expect flavour to decline.

Locking and Unlocking

Press the fire button 4 times rapidly to toggle the device between locked and unlocked. Always lock before putting the device in your pocket to prevent accidental firing.

What is the best wattage for OXVA XLIM Pro 3?
For 0.6 ohm pods: 25-32W. For 0.8 ohm pods: 18-24W. For 1.2 ohm pods: 12-16W. Start at the lower end of each range and increase 1W at a time to dial in your preference.
How do I change wattage on the XLIM Pro 3?
Hold the fire button and press + or - to adjust wattage. Release the fire button when done. The setting is saved automatically.
Why does my XLIM Pro 3 keep reducing wattage?
The device has a battery protection system that reduces wattage as battery drops below 20%. Charge the device and your set wattage will be restored. If it reduces wattage on a full charge, the pod may have a resistance mismatch.
What does E1, E2 or E3 mean on my XLIM Pro 3?
E1 means the pod is not properly seated - remove and reinsert firmly. E2 means the coil resistance is outside the device range - try a different pod. E3 means a short circuit - remove the pod and inspect the contacts.
