How to Reset Any OXVA XLIM (30 Seconds)
The reset process is the same across all current OXVA devices: XLIM Pro 3, XLIM Go 2, XLIM 3 Ultra, NeXLIM, and VPrime.
- Press the fire button 5 times in rapid succession.You have 3 seconds to complete all 5 presses. The device will vibrate or the LED/screen will flash to confirm.
- The device toggles between locked and unlocked.If it was locked, it is now unlocked (and vice versa). This is the primary use of the 5-click reset.
- Your settings are preserved.Wattage, airflow mode and preferences are not cleared by this reset. Only the lock status changes.
How to Clear the Puff Counter (XLIM Pro 3)
The XLIM Pro 3 tracks puff count on screen. Clearing it when you fit a new pod helps you track coil life accurately.
- Press the fire button 3 times to cycle through the display modes until the puff counter screen appears.
- Hold the + and - buttons simultaneously for 2-3 seconds. The counter resets to 0.
- A single press of fire confirms and returns you to the main display.

Getting the Best Performance After a Reset
Set the right wattage
After a reset double-check your wattage setting matches your pod. 0.8 ohm pods: 18-24W. 1.2 ohm pods: 12-16W. 0.6 ohm pods: 25-32W.
Prime any new pod
If you fitted a new pod, fill it and leave for 5 minutes before vaping. Take 3-5 draw-only puffs to saturate the coil before firing.
Check airflow
After handling the device, the airflow slider may have moved. Set it to your preferred position before your first draw.
Charge if low
Below 20% battery the device may cut out mid-puff or reduce performance. Plug in via USB-C for 45-60 minutes.

A worn coil can mimic device faults: weak draw, burnt taste, and auto-draw problems all happen when a pod reaches the end of its life. If resetting the device didn't help, try a fresh pod before concluding the device has a fault.
