My XLIM only seems to leak after being left in the car or a warm pocket. Is heat actually causing it?

Heat thins the liquid so it can happen. I stopped leaving mine in the car and it improved.

Yes. Heat thins e-liquid and increases pressure inside the pod, which can push liquid into the airflow. Keep the device upright where possible, avoid hot cars, and leave a small air gap when filling. If the seal is worn, replace the pod.
