If a pod leaks badly from new, is that a warranty issue or just a pod replacement?

Retailers usually deal with kits and faulty items, but pods are consumables.

Pods are usually treated as consumables, but a pod leaking immediately from new may still be worth raising with the retailer. Take photos, keep packaging, and describe the fill method/liquid used. For the device itself, retailer warranty terms matter.
