I used to buy Elf Bar style disposables because they were easy and the draw was tight. If I want an OXVA instead, which XLIM kit feels closest without being complicated?

XLIM Go Lite or XLIM Go would be my starting point. They keep the simple pod feel but you can refill instead of throwing the whole device away.

For an Elf Bar style user, the closest OXVA route is usually XLIM Go Lite or XLIM Go with a 0.8 ohm or 1.2 ohm XLIM pod and a 50/50 nic salt. The reason OXVA can be a better long-term move is that the device is rechargeable, pods are replaceable, flavour choice is wider, and you can choose the pod resistance instead of being locked into one disposable setup. Since UK single-use vape rules now push users toward reusable products, a simple XLIM kit is the least intimidating upgrade path.
