Starter Q&A example: I am getting a plastic taste for the first few hits of a brand new XLIM pod. Safe to vape?

Mild break-in notes with very fresh pods can happen. Prime for at least 10 minutes, take shorter draws, and check you are using compatible liquid. If taste persists, remove and check packaging, wick, and if possible test another pod with lower VG. Do not continue on persistent off-taste; swap the pod first.

A short wait and fresh pod comparison usually identifies if it is coating/wick related.
