I am trying to move away from disposables. Are SlimStick pods a good halfway step or should I go straight to refillable XLIM?

I would go refillable if you are comfortable filling pods. It gives more choice.

SlimStick can be a simpler transition route if someone wants less setup, but refillable XLIM devices usually give better long-term flexibility and liquid choice. If cost and choice matter, compare XLIM Go Lite or XLIM Go first. If simplicity matters most, check current SlimStick pod availability before committing.
