What's the correct fill level for XLIM top-fill pods?

Quick question – should I fill my XLIM pod right to the top or leave a gap? I've been filling mine to the very top each time because it seems obvious to maximise the liquid, but I keep reading about leaving a gap. What's the actual advice?

I see NeXLIM advertised as having "dual mesh" pods and I've noticed the flavour is better than my old kit, but I don't really understand the technical difference. What does dual mesh actually mean and why does it improve flavour?

Just put a new XLIM top-fill pod in and the first few draws taste a bit like cotton wool / slight papery flavour. Is this normal for a new pod and how many draws does it take to clear?

Weird question but my friend says she puts IVG 2400 pods directly into her XLIM device. That doesn't sound right to me but she swears it works. Is this actually a thing or is she confused about what kit she's using?

I've been enjoying the blueberry SlimStick but curious about lychee ice. I'm not usually a huge fan of icy flavours because some are too cold and chemical tasting. Is the lychee ice overpowering on the ice or does the fruit come through?

My XLIM Pro 3 is my main device but I've found myself caught out a couple of times with a dead battery. I want a cheap backup to keep charged and ready. Should I get another XLIM Pro 3 or a cheaper model? Does it need to be from the same pod family?

Dropped my XLIM Pro 3 and now it rattles – damaged?

Dropped my XLIM Pro 3 off my desk this morning – maybe 4 feet onto a wooden floor. It still seems to work fine but there's a faint rattle inside when I shake it. Should I be worried? Is there something that can move around inside that's just settling?

Six months with the VPrime – an honest review

Got my VPrime in November and have been using it daily since. Thought I'd do a proper review for anyone considering it:

Build quality: 9/10. Solid, premium feel, no rattles or issues.
Battery life: 8/10. Full day of moderate use. Sometimes needs a top-up early evening if I've been busy.
Flavour: 8/10. Excellent with 0.4 ohm pods. The 0.2 is vapour-focused rather than flavour-focused.
Pod life: 7/10. 7-10 days at moderate wattage. Shorter at higher power.
Value: 8/10. More expensive upfront than XLIM but the premium feel justifies it.
Overall: Would absolutely buy again. Best pod kit I've owned.
