Shortfills in OXVA pods — 50/50 or 70/30 VG/PG?

Just moved from 10ml nic salts to 50ml shortfills (with a nicshot, coming out to ~18mg). Bought a 70/30 VG/PG shortfill but it feels noticeably thicker in my NeXLIM pod and the flavour seems slightly muted. Should I have gone 50/50? Is 70/30 compatible at all with OXVA pods?

Been using 20mg nic salts in my XLIM Pro 3 for 6 months without complaint. A mate insists 18mg freebase works better and gives better flavour. The Pro 3 has a tight MTL draw so salts seem right to me, but I'm curious. Has anyone done a proper side-by-side comparison in the same device?

How long can you keep an opened 10ml nic salt bottle?

I bulk-bought a 10-pack of nic salts and I'm slowly working through them. Some are 3-4 months old since opening. They still taste fine but I'm wondering what the actual shelf life is once opened. Should I be worried about nicotine oxidation? Does refrigerating them help?

Weird question but my friend says she puts IVG 2400 pods directly into her XLIM device. That doesn't sound right to me but she swears it works. Is this actually a thing or is she confused about what kit she's using?

Coil gunk after 2 weeks – what's causing it and can I prevent it?

When I look at my XLIM pods through the transparent section after about 2 weeks, I can see dark discolouration around the coil/cotton area. The flavour is still okay but weaker than it was. Is this gunk? What causes it and is there any way to reduce how fast it builds up?

I'm starting my vaping journey after quitting cigarettes – I was on about 15 a day, roll-ups, so not heavy but definitely dependent. I've read about different nic strengths and I'm not sure whether to start at 10mg or 20mg. I really don't want to crave cigarettes.

I picked up some 70/30 VG/PG liquid and my XLIM pods are dying noticeably faster than they were on 50/50 nic salts. Going from about 10 days to 5-6 days. Is the 70/30 just too thick for the XLIM pods?
